First time having this kind of bad experience at a sport chek. Was standing at the shoe section with a sales person near me but no greeting, no asking if needed help. Finally i decided to ask for the shoes with 2 sizes, she just gave them and left us to talk to another customer. Wanted to try one more size to buy but the another sales person was at the far end claiming that she was there to help. But i am not going to walk barefooted all the way. Also usually when they give shoes to a customer, they usually offer help to knot up the lace as it is new, as a customer i dont think i have to sit there and knot up all the lace on these shoes, i have no problem in doing it but atleast offering to help would be good. I asked the person over there for an email to write to and she said she doesnt know. Well thats okay. But she claims that she was all the time there to help. Anyways, not coming to this store anymore.

Spent 15 minutes in the shoe section waiting for someone to come to help. Not a soul around. I knew the shoe I wanted to buy so I literally would have spent 5 minutes. Gave up and left, along with 2 other shoppers who suffered the same date. 2nd instance of this neglectful service.

Prices here are absolutely insane. Even their "clearance" section has prices that are far more expensive than any other store, even for the same brands and items. Store is absolutely jam-packed with inventory, and at these prices, I'm shocked they move any of it.

The prices are absurd! I think they jack them up just so they can "put them on sale". Prices & sales signs weren't on display. Had to check their website for prices and sales. Hard to find staff on the floor to answer questions.

Yesterday I had the worse experience at this store. I bought a basketball on June 3, regret it and was going to return 2 days later. On the receipt it was saying that I was able to get a full refund if the item was not an electronic, food, and others. The basketball was not listed there and we did not use it. The guy at the cashier was new and he didn't know how to proceed with the refund, so he called the manager. I can't remember his name, I know it starts with D and it was a Wednesday around 2p.m. The guy was rude since the beginning, gave me a hard time, I tried to explain but he was mad, and didn't want to help at all. I showed him the receipt so he started to get out of control and said I was lying, because clearly I have used that ball before, even though I was telling him I haven't. He said he wouldn't give me a refund, so he grabbed a paper saying that was their return policy, and said that the small letters were saying they could not refund if the item was used before. I explained that again and he repeated I was lying, which is weird coming from a manager that supposed to do a good customer service. I asked him why they give a receipt saying they do refund within 30 days of your purchase, but then when you get to the store they say something different? He basically said he didn't care and there was nothing he could do. I decided to try a different store, went to the one located at Westwood Centre (Wonderland South), and the manager was at the cashier when I got there. I showed him the ball, explained the situation and without asking ANYTHING, he proceed with the refund. That is a good customer service, that will make me go back to the store. This guy pretending to be a manager at White oaks store is a joke! Mister D whatever, you should visit the other store and learn from them. I would give 5 star to the Westwood unit, but for White Oaks I give 1 because 0 is not possible.

After being the bike technician at the other store did not tuned up my bike properly Rob the technician there was very excellent I highly recommend that people should very friendly store had absolutely no problems very satisfied thanks again Rob and I will see you next year

I don’t really like writing google reviews just because things happen and that’s okay. I work in retail and I understand but wow my experience here was HORRIBLE. I walked in with my family and myself as an employee in white oaks mall. We were just looking for birthday gifts and had the staff watching us the whole entire time, following us? When just talking about if this would be a good gift to buy, They would stare and not just one person it was a group of 4-6 and it made us feel uncomfortable we tried to pay no mine to it but it was outrageous. I don’t like confrontation so I just said loudly I can feel your eyes on us and one of the sales reps RUDELY said “good I’m glad”. If you wanted to check to see if we were stealing you know MAYBE call security or maybe just ask us to check our bags? AND On top of everything We still purchased items w/ the manager coming up to us at the counter and “making sure everything was good”. I don’t know what we could have done or our actions to make them think we were potentially stealing? But I’ll never go back there my whole experience there was uncomfortable.
